Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Expands Its Bucks County Presence with New Patient Care Center in Yardley

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic has expanded its Bucks County presence with a new outpatient care center at the Edgewood Village Shopping Center in Yardley.

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic has expanded its Bucks County presence with a new outpatient care center at the Edgewood Village Shopping Center in Yardley, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The 6,300-square-foot practice site, which cost around $5 million, is located on Heacock Road, in a space that was previously a Rite Aid.

“Yardley fits well into our overall plan of creating a primary care presence all around St. Mary Medical Center,” said Dr. William Melms, president of the Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group.

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic at Yardley is the ninth patient care practice site operated by the Newtown Square health system in Bucks County.

The latest location is around a 10-minute drive from the health system’s St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. It has one primary care physician and two advanced nurse practitioners. In a couple of weeks, obstetrics and gynecology services will be added, along with other specialty services over the coming months.

Future plans also call for cardiology, women’s health services, diagnostic imaging, and potentially neurology.

“We will tailor the programs there to the needs of our patients,” said Melms.
