Capital Health Expands in Bucks County with New Yardley Office, Future Plans Uncertain

Capital Health is rapidly expanding its presence in Bucks County with the opening of its eighth physician practice.

Capital Health is rapidly expanding its presence in Bucks County with the opening of its eighth physician practice, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The newest primary care office, located in Yardley off Floral Vale Boulevard, is part of the health system’s strategy to enhance outpatient services in the region.

This marks Capital Health’s second Yardley location, adding to its growing network of multispecialty and primary care practices across Bucks County, including sites in Newtown, Langhorne, Lower Makefield, Washington Crossing, and Levittown

Led by Dr. Clare Gosek, the new Yardley office features a team of five board-certified physicians committed to providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

While Capital Health expands its outpatient network, the future of its proposed inpatient facility in Langhorne remains uncertain.

After acquiring a closed specialty hospital near Oxford Valley Mall in 2019, plans to convert it into a micro-hospital were delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The health system is now exploring alternative uses for the site.

Capital Health’s continued expansion includes plans to open a new practice in Richboro later this year, signaling a commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of Bucks County residents.
