New Falls Township Wawa Will Sell Beer, Wine As They Open This Coming Year

Construction for a Wawa store and gas station in Newtown could begin soon under certain stipulations from the township.

One of Bucks County’s latest Wawa location will begin selling alcohol to customers when they open in the coming year.

The new location, which will be situated at 530 Lincoln Highway in Falls Township, will offer beer and wine to customers, a new item the popular chain will be selling. Supervisors approved the sale of alcohol at the new location on Monday.

Once the location of Arosso, A Touch of Sicily, a popular Italian eatery, the new Wawa will be one of the newest spots in Bucks County, already home to a large amount of locations. It will also be one of 15 Pennsylvania Wawas to sell alcohol.

A 100% carding policy will be in place, just as it is for all other Wawas in the state. This will make for easy and legal transactions involving alcohol, with not gray area left open for the company.
