Three restaurateurs from Montgomery County have purchased Doylestown’s Station Tap House, with plans to rebrand the restaurant in their first Bucks County project, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
New owners Joshua Friedberg, Gent Mema, and Orbelin Bitraj acquired the business and liquor license on March 2. While they declined to share the cost of the purchase, liquor licenses are estimated to cost $450,000 in Bucks County.
According to Mema, the restaurant, now titled The Station, will open for dinner service this Friday, and lunch service will begin on April 17. The Station will be open every day except Mondays.
The trio currently operates five eateries across Montgomery and Delaware Counties, with two more in development at the Jersey Shore.
Since purchasing the space, Station Tap House has been closed for rebranding and renovations, including painting, lighting upgrades, and decor adjustments.
The new menu will be similar in style to their Library restaurant, located in Collegeville, with a few changes.
Spanning 8,500 square feet, The Station offers both indoor and outdoor bars, a banquet room, and a patio. According to Mema, the restaurant can seat around 400 people.
