Trevose-based Rita’s Italian Ice recently announced the launch of a new dessert that levels up its beloved Gelati: the Gelati Sundae.
The Gelati has been the franchise’s most popular menu item, with layers of Italian ice and custard.
This new limited-time treat gives customers combinations of Italian ice, custard, and toppings, with three special options to choose from.
The Strawberry Shortcake Sundae includes layers of vanilla Italian ice, strawberry topping, and vanilla custard, sprinkled with crunchy vanilla wafers.
Bear-y Sweet blends its popular cotton candy Italian ice with a layer of gummy bears and vanilla custard, topped with a helping of rainbow sprinkles.
The final treat, Wild ChocoCherry, is a tasty blend of fruit flavors and chocolate, featuring wild black cherry Italian ice, chocolate custard, hot fudge, and chocolate chips.
