Trevose-based Rita’s Italian Ice is opening a new location in Ambler at the end of the month, just in time for the start of spring, writes Robby Chakler for WissNow.
The new Italian ice spot is taking the place of the former Mr. Wish at Horsham Road Center.
Ambler is listed as the address for the new location, but Horsham officials are celebrating it as the township’s first Rita’s.
“Horsham’s first Rita’s!!! We can’t wait!!! It’s going to be a great spring and summer,” wrote Horsham officials.
According to the franchise, the owners of the Rita’s in Warrington are moving from their Bucks County store to the new one in neighboring Montgomery County.
“Happy to report our new Rita’s location is nearing completion of the build-out. Nancy and Bill look forward to serving you soon!” said a Facebook post.
The new sweet treat spot boasts a special store layout, giving locals a unique experience.
An official opening date has yet to be announced, but more updates are expected soon.
