Freedom Village at Brandywine residents and team members came together to support their neighbors at Reeceville Elementary School through the school’s annual “Project Snowflake” initiative.
Over the last few weeks, Freedom Village collected more than 140 toys and over $350 in gift cards to help provide holiday support for local families with children ages three through 12.
The donations were delivered directly to Reeceville Elementary, located just across the street from the community.
“Giving back is an important part of who we are,” said Freedom Village Executive Director Danielle Geyer. “We are grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors and help brighten the season for local families. The generosity shown by our residents and staff speaks to the strong community spirit at Freedom Village.”
Project Snowflake is designed to ensure children and families in need receive gifts and essential items during the holiday season. Contributions from community partners like Freedom Village play a key role in meeting these needs.
