With the holidays just around the corner, there are plenty of spots across Bucks County to visit to help you get into the Christmas spirit this year, writes Megan Connelly for Visit Bucks County.
New Hope is a gorgeous spot to explore during the Christmas season, ranked as one of the best holiday spots in the country.
Visitors can get their own “Polar Express” experience on the New Hope Railroad, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Santa’s North Pole Express Train, nominated as one of Newsweek’s Best Christmas Train Rides 2026, features hot cocoa, desserts and magical decor.
Check out Perkasie for America’s oldest Christmas tree lighting ceremony, dating back over a century.
Chalfont’s Byers’ Choice offers a window into the world of Charles Dickens, with its life-sized, handcrafted caroler figurine displays.
Families can visit Sesame Place in Langhorne for “A Very Furry Christmas,” featuring a special parade, holiday shows and character meet-and-greets.
You can’t miss Peddler’s Village during the holidays either, with the Gingerbread Competition and Display, restaurants, shops and the one million lights decorating the area.
Shady Brook Farm will be having its drive-through Holiday Light Show with more than three million lights.
