If you’re looking to pick some pumpkins to carve and decorate this fall, there are plenty of spots in Bucks County that you can explore with your family and friends, writes Henry Savage and Hira Qureshi for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Bountiful Acres Garden Center in Holicong is a great family-friendly spot. During the Pumpkin Harvest Festival, guests can stop by any weekend from 10 AM to 4 PM to pick their own pumpkin. Visitors can also check out activities like the hayride, corn maze, pumpkin bowling, live music and the zip line.
Yardley’s Charlann Farms hosts Fall Festivities every weekend throughout the season. Families can enjoy painting small pumpkins, exploring the straw maze, hanging out with live animals and grabbing food from food trucks.
Hellerick’s Family Farm in Doylestown has pumpkins of all sizes available for purchase, along with gourds and squash. After finding the perfect pumpkin, guests can enjoy the hayride, corn mazes, hay bale slides and playgrounds.
Snipes Farm & Education Center in Morrisville is another great spot to pick your own pumpkins. Visitors can peruse fresh produce at the Big Barn Market and then grab cider and doughnuts from the Cider Barn to wrap up the day.
