Peaches, Apples, and Pears Galore! Where to Pick Fruit in Bucks County

Those hoping to pick some fresh produce this summer can explore these local farms for pears, berries, apples and more.

Looking to pick some fresh fruit and veggies? These pick-your-own produce spots throughout Bucks County are the perfect places to explore, writes Kaitlin Nasevich for Visit Bucks County

Ottsville’s Penn Vermont Fruit Farm offers a wide selection of fruits to pick, from watermelons and strawberries to peaches. 

Trauger’s Farm Market spans 60 acres in Kintnersville, with fruits and veggies ready to be picked throughout the year. This family-owned farm has peaches, strawberries, cantaloupes, pears, raspberries and melons. 

In Doylestown, Hellerick’s Adventure Farm is the perfect spot to pick blueberries, strawberries and sugar snap peas. Their Fall Harvest Festival is another fun event to check out, with pumpkin picking and hayrides. 

Solebury Orchards in New Hope is a popular apple-picking destination. Visitors can enjoy their delicious apple products, like apple cider donuts, apple cider and fresh applesauce. 

Those in Central Bucks can head to Solly’s Farm in Ivyland. This farm features an assortment of fruits, including honeydew, pears, watermelon, blackberries and more. 

At Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, visitors can enjoy gathering berries, picking fresh peaches and apples, harvesting herbs and vegetables, and even creating their own flower arrangements.
