Mercer Museum’s Annual ‘Cocktails at the Castle’ Fundraiser Returns to Doylestown

Doylestown’s Mercer Museum is hosting its annual “Cocktails at the Castle” event from 6 to 10 PM on Oct. 11, featuring great food and beverages.

“Cocktails at the Castle” will be returning to the Mercer Museum in Doylestown on Oct. 11 from 6 to 10 PM, offering a wide variety of food and drink options, while supporting a good cause, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

This annual fundraiser supports the programs, community initiatives and exhibitions at the museum, which is run by the Bucks County Historical Society.

The night begins with the Pine Street Stroll cocktail hour, located in the quad on the museum’s grounds. Music will be provided by DJ Brickhouse as visitors explore the grounds and the outdoor fire pits.

Many local eateries have partnered with the museum for the event, including Carve 52, Doan Distillery, Vernafern and Wycombe Vineyards.

Other eateries in attendance are Aurora Bistro, Chambers 19, Empanada Mama, Genevieve’s Kitchen, Cross Culture Fine Indian Cuisine, Saporito Fresh Pasta, Wegmans and more.

Desserts from Pierre’s Chocolate, Le Macaron French Pastries, Sweet Victory and Nothing Bundt Cakes will also be available.

An online silent auction for special packages and one-of-a-kind experiences is being held.

Tickets for the event begin at $250 for general admission, $225 for members of the Bucks County Historical Society and $400 for VIP.
