In a sea of stunning places to visit, some stand out as true hidden gems that should not be missed.

Formerly the home of Henry Chapman Mercer, the famous archaeologist and artist, Fonthill Castle in Doylestown boasts 44 rooms with 18 fireplaces and two hundred windows. Each of the spaces features walls, floors, and ceilings covered with original handcrafted tiles.

Mercer Museum in Doylestown pays tribute to Henry Chapman Mercer. The collection has around 40,000 objects, ranging from hand tools to horse-drawn vehicles.

Meanwhile, the 465-acre Silver Lake Nature Center features seven walking trails that allow visitors to explore a range of habitats. A natural play area for children and an amphitheater for outdoor events are also available.

Ringing Rocks County Park in Upper Black Eddy is made up of igneous diabase boulders that resonate when struck by a hammer, while Tyler State Park in Newtown offers 1,711 acres filled with roads, trails, and facilities nestled within an original farm and woodland setting.
