Those with a sweet tooth will find Evolution Candy in Doylestown to be their happy place, with an assortment of treats to choose from, reports Jenn Frederick for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
Kids in the area stop by as often as they can to pick out candy and ice cream from the wide selection.
The owners, James and Tracy Lamb, have managed the store for the past seven years, but the shop itself has been open since 1981.
The store, located on State Street, sells everything from Swedish Fish and lollipops to roasted nuts and chocolate-covered coffee beans.
While their candy is a favorite for many, their ice cream is also widely popular, offering flavors like vanilla, chocolate and mint chocolate chip.
Customers can order a root beer float or a dirt cup, with layers of cookie crumbles and ice cream topped with gummy carrots.
Evolution Candy has no shortage of regulars who pop by throughout the day to grab a sweet treat.
The store is located near the County Theater, Siren Records, LULA Doylestown and Busy Bee Toys.
