Liberty Ministries Thrift Expands Footprint With New Hilltown Location

The nonprofit thrift store, Liberty Ministries Thrift, has expanded its footprint in the region with a new location in Hilltown.

Liberty Ministries Thrift, a nonprofit thrift store, has expanded its footprint in the region with a new location in Hilltown Township, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.

The new store, which held a soft opening on Oct. 11, is open from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday. It occupies an updated space at 709 Route 113 in the County Line Plaza shopping center, which was previously home to a Big Lots store.

Liberty Ministries Thrift also runs two stores in Quakertown and one each in Feasterville, Collegeville, Montgomeryville, Pottstown and Sanatoga. The nonprofit relies on donated merchandise to operate, and individuals can drop off contributions at the new store from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The store offers a wide selection of gently used clothing, furniture, glassware, wall art, household goods, seasonal items and more.

The stores generate funds for Schwenksville-based Liberty Ministries, an organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of prison recidivism in Pennsylvania.

“Liberty Ministries exists to serve offenders in prison and ex-offenders in the community by showing God’s love, providing practical assistance and supporting biblical standards of justice,” states the organization’s mission.
