Worthwhile Wear, founded by Sellersville resident Dan Emr, offers a comprehensive list of services to survivors of human trafficking in Pennsylvania, writes Joe Ferry for Bucks County Herald.

The organization has an annual budget of $3.5 million, the majority of which comes from sales at its two thrift stores, one of them is in Plumsteadville.

It provides hope and healing to between 150 and 250 survivors each year through its outreach, safe houses, recovery, and employment programs.

“For those who escape, the road to healing requires a comprehensive response,” said Emr.
