A small plane crashed along Old Easton Road in Bucks County late Monday morning, according to a staff report from KYW Newsradio.
According to officials from the Doylestown Fire Company, the pilot escaped uninjured from the accident, which occurred around 11 AM.
The RANS S-19, a single-engine, two-seater aircraft, had taken off from Doylestown Airport before crashing into a nearby vacant lot. The pilot was the sole occupant of the plane.
Crews quickly secured the aircraft and mitigated all hazards.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Buckingham Township fire marshal and the FAA.
