Anzu Social Brings Asian Sophistication to a New Hope Mansion

Some of the dishes available at the new Anzu Social restaurant in New Hope.

Anzu Social opened recently in downtown New Hope in The Mansion Inn, serving up an Asian-inspired dining experience, writes Michele C. Haddon for The Bucks County Courier Times.

The menu features dishes like spicy tuna hand roll, and salmon tartar, made with diced salmon, tobiko roe and nasturtium, served with chili oil and buttermilk doshi.

Executive Chef Greg Giebler also serves up Singaporean Shrimp Satay, made with roasted shrimp, Singaporean chili butter, chili oil, fried garlic and shallots.

Other seafood dishes include the crispy red snapper served with Thai coconut green curry, cilantro oil and sushi rice.

If your tastes lean more toward turf than surf, there’s the Gohujang hanger steak cooked over a yakitori grill and served with roasted Japanese eggplant, black garlic blueberry jus, shiso, and crispy onion and shallots.

The drink menu at Anzu Social features craft cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, Japanese whiskeys and an extensive sake list.

Anzu Social also has a lounge area where guests can enjoy their drinks.

For dessert, Sous chef Mark Santos can deliver a banana spring roll, with a miso caramel drizzle and calamansi.

Another dessert option is the roasted strawberries topped with yuzu cheesecake foam and brown butter crumble.
