Get ready to hit the books! Barnes & Noble is set to open in Doylestown’s Barn Plaza Shopping Center next year, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

According to Maria Pace of Brixmor Property Group, which owns the Barn Plaza, Barnes & Noble will occupy the remaining portion that previously housed Marshall’s and HomeGoods. The larger portion of the space will house Whole Foods, according to an announcement last fall.

The Barnes & Noble is set to open in early September of next year and be just under 11,500 square feet. While this location will not have a café, it will have a new design and book collection designed specifically with the Doylestown market in mind.

Construction is currently underway at the property.

Brixmor says they cannot provide further details on the projected opening date for Whole Foods.

Pace says that the property group is also working to fill the former spaces of Regal Cinemas, Applebee’s, and Starbucks.
