Doylestown Township To See New Whole Foods Market Open, the First One in Bucks County History

The new food store will be the first Whole Foods location in Bucks County.

The first Whole Foods Market in Bucks County will be opening soon, and Doylestown residents are gearing up for the new grocery store. Jeff Werner wrote about the new supermarket for the Newtown, PA Patch.

The first of its kind in the Bucks County area, the new food store will be located in Barn Plaza, a popular shopping center in Doylestown Township. The center’s owners, Brixmor Property Group, recently wrote about the upcoming store.

“Whole Foods Market is coming to our Barn Plaza, a retail shopping center located at the corner of Easton Road and Almshouse Road in Doylestown, PA,” the group said on Facebook.

With this new location opening, Bucks County residents will no longer haver to commute out of the area for they Whole Foods goods.

“We wholeheartedly welcome Whole Foods to the township,” said Barbara Lyons, the chair of the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors. “They have a wonderful reputation as a grocer, they offer a great product and we’re happy they will be joining us as a member of the Doylestown Township community.”
