Newtown Indian Restaurant Announces New Fall Menu, With Proceeds Benefiting Local Nonprofit
Guru’s Indian Cuisine, located at 203 North Sycamore Street in Newtown, will soon begin offering a new seasonal menu for local residents and visitors to the area.
The new fall menu offers Indian dishes and twists on dining favorites, with dishes like corn bhartha, vegan pumpkin curry, and chicken pumpkin curry. Cocktails such as the apple peartini and caramel apple martini will be perfect compliments to the meals and the upcoming fall weather.
“The menu is available through Thanksgiving and offered both a-la-carte or as a 3-course prix fixe,” the restaurant said online.
The new menu was made in collaboration with Happy Tails Rescue Retirement Home, a nonprofit based in Morrisville that works to give elderly animals a comfortable life. Proceeds from the new menu will go to benefit and support the organization.
The menu will be launched on Sept. 22.
“Here you will find traditional dishes from the diverse Indian states as well as unique fusions of these classic recipes with Indo-Chinese and Mexican culinary influences sure to delight any foodie!” the restaurant’s website reads.
