A popular restaurant in Bucks County will be hosting an event that will allow local residents to meet and chat with fellow businesspeople.

Guru’s Indian Cuisine, located at 203 North Sycamore Street in Newtown, will be hosting a Business Card Exchange event for the Newtown Business Association on Aug. 9 from 5 – 7 PM.

“Join us at our monthly business card exchange!” event organizers said online. “This is a great opportunity to meet other business owners and build connections. Please use the ticket link to pre-register for this free event.”

The business organization invites all guests to attend one Business Card Exchange and one Member Breakfast Meeting. A guest fee will be assessed for each event attended thereafter.

Event sponsors include Newtown Neighbors and Yardley Living Magazines.

The restaurant has become a hub for the local community through events like these and other fun activites. Just this past March, the restaurant hosted a Holi celebration, which saw local families come together and create a colorful environment for all who celebrate the Hindu holiday.
