A popular wildflower preserve in New Hope will be showing a pre-recorded interview with a well-known author this week.

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, located at 1635 River Road, is continuing its parternship with the Newtown Theater by showing an interview with Robin Wall Kimmerer, an ecologist who wrote the widely-popular book, “Braiding Sweetgrass.”

The interview, which was pre-recorded for the event, will be shown at the theater on Sept. 26 at 7:30 PM. The theater is located at 120 North State Street in Newtown.

Published in August of 2015, Kimmerer’s book focuses on humanity’s connection with the natural world and how it can rekindle wisdom that was once integral to living a great life in harmony with the earth.

“Hundreds of thousands of readers have turned to Kimmerer’s words over the decades since the book’s first publication, finding these tender, poetic, and respectful words, rooted in soil and tradition, intended to teach and celebrate,” Barnes & Noble wrote on its website.
