Famous Theater in Bucks County Kicking Off Summer with Cult-Classic Movie Series

The theater will be showing several children's movies this summer.

A well-known theater in Bucks County will be showing several classic films to kick off their summer festivities.

The Newtown Theatre, located at 120 North State Street in Newtown, will debut “The Cult Vault” this summer, a series of 10 cult-classic films that will all be shown for free.to series sponsor Attleboro Wealth Management in Yardley.  

This year’s summer lineup includes:

  • “Army of Darkness” (1992) on June 13 at 7:30 PM
  • “Raising Arizona” (1987) on June 20 at 7:30 PM 
  • “The Big Lebowski” (1998) on June 27 at 7:30 PM
  • “Clerks” (1994) on July 11 at 7:30 PM
  • “This is Spinal Tap” (1984) on July 18 at 7:30 PM 
  • “Escape from New York” (1981) on July 25 at 7:30 PM
  • “Tremors” (1990) on Aug. 8 at 7:30 PM
  • “300” (2007) on Aug. 15 at 7:30 PM
  • “Labyrinth” (1986) on Aug. 22 at 7:30 PM
  • “Vampire’s Kiss” (1989) on Aug. 29 at 7:30 PM

Doors open for each movie a half hour before showtime. Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before each movie.
