Earlier this year, the group hosted performances of Edward Albee’s “A Delicate Balance,” which began on Jan. 27 and ended on Feb. 12.

A popular theater in Bucks County will be bringing several musicians to their stage to perform the songs of a renowned act.

The historic Newtown Theatre will welcome One Man Dog for “A Tribute to James Taylor” on May 13 at 8 PM.

One Man Dog was formed in 2019 as a tribute to James Taylor, performing many of Taylor’s classic songs as well as deeper cuts spanning decades of the legendary singer’s musical catalog.

The band is led by main vocalist and acoustic guitarist Ray Adkins (formally of The Mighty Manatees). He is backed by a full band made up of members who have played with artists such as James Taylor, Tom Jones, and Brian Wilson. They include Chico Huff on bass, Frank Strauss on keyboards, Jim Hines on drums, Brian Herder on multiple instruments, and background vocals by Valentina Raffaelli, Emily Drinker and Marguerite Herder.

Tickets are available at the theater’s website for $35 per person or $30 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $45 at the door on the night of the show (if available). All seating is general admission.

Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before the show and during the show. The theatre is located at 120 North State Street in Newtown Borough
