The group's hits will be played by a plethora of local and visiting musicians.

A famous theater in Bucks County will soon be hosting a concert, where various musicians will perform the songs of a legendary rock group.

The Newtown Theatre, located at 120 North State Street in Newtown, will present “The Music of the Band” on April 21 at 8 PM. The performance will feature Professor Louie and The Crowmatix with The Woodstock Horns.

Professor Louie and The Crowmatix have been performing together since 2000. Louie collaborated with The Band for more than 16 years, producing the group’s last three albums and playing on and producing their comeback hit, Atlantic City.

This concert will feature a diverse set list with songs from The Band, but also some Bob Dylan and original music from Louie’s group.

Tickets are $30 per person or $25 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $40 at the door on the night of the show, if available. All seating is general admission. Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the show.
