The new building is still in the middle of its construction.

A school district in Bucks County is continuing its efforts to finish a new building for their students and staff.

Neshaminy School District, headquartered at 2250 Langhorne Yardley Road in Langhorne, has provided updates on a new building being built on Maple Point Middle School’s property.

“The structure of the new elementary school on the Maple Point campus is starting to come together!” the school district said online.

The new school will replace Pearl Buck Elementary School in Middletown. That building, which was built in 1968, would have cost $24 million to $26 million to renovate. The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2024. It is expected to be able to house between 800 and 900 children.

The school district has also worked on a new $13 million sports complex at Neshaminy High School.

This expansion is expected to help local students have a better place to learn and a new building for teachers to be able to educate their students in a fresh environment.
