Bucks County Theater Showing Several Children’s Movies for Free This Summer

The theater will be showing several children's movies this summer.

A historic theater in Bucks County is offering family fun this summer, with a film series being offered for young children and their parents.

The Newtown Theatre, located at 120 North State Street in Newtown, will screen its annual series of free kids’ movies this summer on Wednesday mornings at 10 AM. Each of this year’s films will have a “wildlife” theme. 

No reservations or tickets are required for the movies. Seating is first come, first served and doors open one hour before show time. This year’s summer lineup includes:

  • “Shark Tale” on June 21 at 10 AM
  • “Free Willy” on June 28 at 10 AM
  • “Madagascar” on July 5 at 10 AM
  • “Ice Age” on July 19 at 10 AM
  • “A Bug’s Life” on July 26 at 10 AM
  • “Over the Hedge” on Aug. 2 at 10 AM
  • “Zootopia” on Aug. 16 at 10 AM
  • “Chicken Run” on Aug. 23 at 10 AM
  • “The Lion King” on Aug. 30 at 10 AM

These screenings are for families only, not summer camps.
