A nonprofit organization in Bucks County is looking for local artists whose works can be auctioned off for an important financial cause.

Bucks Beautiful, headquartered at 85 East State Street in Doylestown, is hosting their 10th Annual Spring Fling auction at the historic Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm on April 21 from 6 – 10 PM. Guests of the event will dine in the Stone Bank Barn, located at 5281 York Road in Holicong.

The event will see painting by local artists auctioned to help the organization continue their efforts in adding to the aesthetic beauty of the area through the planting of gardens and trees. “Wisteria at the Spring House” by artist Dot Bunn is just one of many pieces involved in the auction.

“Bucks Beautiful’s goal is to complement the world fame of Bucks County with a parade of lush, distinctive gardens,” the organization said online.

“Individuals, organizations and businesses are invited to participate in Bucks Beautiful and beautify Bucks County with distinctive gardens reflecting variety, color, creativity and visual impact.”
