The Hulmeville native is known for decoration his yard with frightful zombies every year.

A Bucks County resident has been creating one of the best Halloween sites in the area on his front yard, a great Halloween spectacle. JD Mullane wrote about the spooky sight for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Hulmeville resident Sage Werbock has a yard full of zombies, and keeps adding a new one every Halloween. As a result, people looking for a good fright at the scariest time of the year often pay pilgrimage to his home.

“I look outside and people are taking pictures, or standing there, just looking,” said Werbock.

He often sets a theme for his display. One year it was a bowling theme, during the pandemic years they wore masks, and this year he opted for yard work. He has set up one zombie holding a rake, while another is pushing a lawnmower over a third, unlucky zombie.

Werbock started doing crazy Halloween displays with his ex-wife a few years after they bought their home in Hulmeville. Since he has an affinity for zombies and is a welder, 14 years ago he created a noodle wire frame for his first monster.

“Oh, yeah, I made all of these myself,” he said. “Every year I add one. I get some Halloween heads and hands and stick them together, and there ya go — zombies.”
