The Israeli native will be the new leader of the important chamber of commerce.

An Israeli native, who now calls Bucks County his home, was recently made the leader of a major organization in Philadelphia. Jarrad Saffron wrote about the new business leader in the Philadelphia Jewish Exponent.

Ravid Butz was just named as the new executive director of the Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, an organization that connects business people in the Philadelphia region and Israel. Butz, who was born and raised in Israel, moved to the Philadelphia area many years ago and called the area his new home.

While attending Temple University, he met his wife, Sibyl, and the two founded a photo lab called PhotoLounge in the late 1990s. Now, Butz and his wife, along with their three kids, live in Bucks County.

“I’m very interested in the personal development of the leader of the company before we even tackle the product side of things,” he said.
