A local politician is hosting an electronics recycling event at a Bucks County high school for community members to partake in.

Senator Steve Santarsiero will be hosting an Electronics Recycling & Food Drive at Central Bucks High School East on Sept. 24. The event will be held from 10 AM to noon.

Acceptable items for recycling include small appliances, printers, computers, laptops, VCR, mics, wires, random metal items, anything with a plug. Televisions and monitors will not be accepted.

“Join State Senator Steve Santarsiero for an Electronics Recycling & Food Drive on Saturday, September 24 from 10 am – noon at the Central Bucks East High School,” the event page said.

The adjoining food drive will benefit the Bucks County Opportunity Council.

Events like these are held throughout Bucks County every year to help local residents do away with unused items and to help those in need with food donations.
