This Bucks County Hospital Was Listed as One of the Best Addiction Centers in the State This Year

The Bucks County hospital is introducing an important program.

A Bucks County hospital made the list for the top addiction centers in the state of Pennsylvania, coming in at number 8. Nancy Cooper wrote. about the addiction center and others for Newsweek.

The Quakertown Men´s Residential Inpatient Treatment Center, a part of Pyramid Healthcare Inc., made the top ten of the list of local addiction centers. The quality of help and medical services offered at the facility left it with the high score, a 86.19% approval rating.

“According to the Centers for Disease Control’s National Center for Health Statistics, there were an estimated 106,622 drug overdose deaths in the U.S. last year, an increase of about 15 percent over 2020,” the website said. “Meanwhile, the CDC has estimated that alcohol induced deaths rose to more than 52,000 in 2021, an increase of 34 percent.”

This year, 330 medical centers made the list nationwide, with 4,000 medical professionals determining which ones were the best of the best in regards to addiction treatments.
