Sunflower farms are an ideal spot to take perfect family photos and enjoy a beautiful day frolicking among gorgeous flowers. For people in the Philadelphia region, Bucks County is a great location for these kind of days. Laura Swartz wrote about some of those spots for Philadelphia Magazine.

At Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, you can hop on a wagon that will take you to the fields where you can make gorgeous bouquets and take stunning selfies. The farm also gives visitors the chance to pick their own crops. Peppers, tomatoes, and kale are available throughout August and apples and pumpkins in will be available in September.

The Sunflower Festival takes place on Aug. 13 and 14. Visitors can enjoy a wide array of fun activities such as go-karts, obstacle courses, and a cow train.

Hellerick’s Family Farm in Doylestown also offers a fun Sunflower Festival with hayrides to the sunflower fields and admission to the Adventure Farm overflowing with family-friendly fun, including games, playground and climbing activities, and farm animals, among much more.

This year, part of the ticket sales will benefit the Ukrainian Federation of America.
