K9 Resorts Is Bringing Dog Summer Camp to Bethlehem and Chalfont This June

A happy camper at K9 Resorts, where dogs can earn badges, enjoy spa days, and make memories all summer long.

Dogs in Bucks County are getting a summer upgrade this year, and it goes well beyond the usual belly rubs and afternoon naps, writes Lacey Latch for Bucks County Courier Times.

New Jersey-based K9 Resorts is rolling out an eight-week summer camp program at its Bethlehem and Chalfont locations, running June 16 through Aug. 9, with themed activities every Tuesday and Thursday.

The lineup reads less like a kennel schedule and more like a kid’s sleepaway camp: agility courses, nosework games, doggy painting sessions, spa days, and camp-themed photo ops.

Campers can even earn badges throughout the summer as keepsakes for pet owners.

The program is an expansion of a successful debut season last year, according to K9 Resorts Co-Founder and CEO Steven Parker, who said the goal is to create an environment where dogs can “thrive, explore, and leave happier.”

The company, which operates nearly 50 boarding and daycare locations nationwide, designed the camp to go beyond standard daycare with a mix of physical exercise, mental enrichment, and social interaction tailored to dogs of different breeds, personalities, and energy levels.

The concept taps into a growing appetite for premium, experience-driven pet care, where your furry friend comes home exhausted, stimulated, and possibly holding a finger painting.
