K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel of Bethlehem, a new boarding and daycare center for dogs, is getting ready to open its doors in Bethlehem Township, writes Pamela Sroka-Holzmann for the Lehigh Valley Live.

The luxury accommodation is set for a grand opening on Sept. 9. The day will include a tour of the facility, specials, and giveaways. Due to safety concerns, families are asked to leave their fur babies at home for this event.

The owners of the Bethlehem Township franchise are Costas and Deb Hrousis, local residents who acquired the Township Line Road property – the home of the hotel – in February. Since then, they have fully renovated the 9,225-square-foot building.

The chain bills itself as the “Ritz-Carlton of dog hotels.” Its locations typically include amenities such as hospital-grade air filtration systems and antimicrobial flooring, among many other things. Premium meals are also included.

The professionally-trained staff are in charge of caring for all pooches who are staying as guests. This includes group play or individual play time. Dogs who are at the hotel for an extended stay receive spa-like bathing and grooming.
