Bucks County’s lucky lottery streak just got a little richer. A “20,000 a Month for Life” scratch-off ticket was recently sold at a Giant supermarket in Warminster for just $10, writes Jo Ciavaglia for Bucks County Courier Times.
The winner can collect $20,000 every month for the rest of their life for a sum of roughly $3.2 million before taxes.
The ticket was purchased at the Giant on 720 West Street Road, marking the third Pennsylvania Lottery ticket worth at least six figures sold in Bucks County so far in 2026. A $3.1 million Match 6 win was sold in May, and a $450,000 Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket in March.
That’s three major winners in roughly six months, and the county’s track record goes back further. Seven tickets worth at least $100,000 were sold in 2025 alone, and since 2021, at least 36 six-figure-or-higher winning tickets have been sold across the county.
However, the streak comes as a mere coincidence. The Pennsylvania Lottery distributes Scratch-Offs randomly, meaning neither the Lottery nor retailers know where a winning ticket will land until someone actually claims a prize.
Still, if you’re buying a ticket anytime soon, Bucks County might not be the worst place to try your luck.
