Yardley native and Holy Ghost Prep grad Aiden Robbins is thriving in his first season playing baseball for the University of Texas, writes Tom Moore for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Robbins is batting third in the Longhorns lineup, leading the team with a .370 average, 40 hits, two triples, 75 total bases, nine home runs, and 30 runs scored.
He helped the Longhorns secure their first three-game sweep of Oklahoma in 12 years, which included two walk-off wins.
Robbins was also the first Texas player since 2015 to hit for the cycle against Michigan State, going 4-for-4, with a home run in the eighth inning off the foul pole.
His current success has Robbins projected to go in the 2026 MLB Draft’s first round.
The six-foot-two player throws and bats right-handed, and is in the top 25 of Baseball America’s latest draft rankings.
