Victus Sports Gears Up for Phillies Season From King of Prussia

King of Prussia’s Victus Sports supplies MLB bats, including for Phillies stars, as Opening Day excitement builds.

As the Phillies break into the new season, one Montgomery County company is already in midseason form, writes Nikki DeMentri for CBS News.

King of Prussia’s Victus Sports produces the official bat of Major League Baseball and supplies custom designs to several Phillies players, including Bryce Harper, Bryson Stott, and Brandon Marsh.

For the company, Opening Day isn’t just another date on the calendar. It’s treated like a holiday.

Founded in 2012 by CEO Jared Smith, Victus has grown from a garage-based operation into a major player in professional baseball. Today, the company produces more than 100,000 bats annually from its Montgomery County facility, with handcrafted designs that have become recognizable across the league.

Among its most notable creations are specialty bats like the pencil design and Philly-inspired concepts, including a cheesesteak-themed bat. Another features the Phillie Phanatic dressed as Ben Franklin. Each is hand-painted, reflecting the company’s focus on craftsmanship and creativity.

With Philadelphia set to host major baseball events in 2026, Victus is preparing for increased demand while continuing to expand its footprint in King of Prussia.

Leaders say the long-term goal is to create a destination that celebrates the region’s deep baseball roots.
