To celebrate the start of baseball season, Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. unveiled a special new IPA inspired by the Phillies, named “Seeing Red,” reports staff for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
The brewery and taproom opened its first location in Croydon and has since expanded with taprooms in Dublin and Harleysville.
What’s so special about their latest beer is the red tint it gets from the German Red X malt, giving Phillies fans a fun new way to celebrate.
With its toasted bread and light caramel flavors, the 5.8 percent ABV IPA is the perfect drink to pair with a salty pretzel.
“This one’s for the diehards, the loudmouths, and anyone who knows that in Philly, passion always runs hot,” writes Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. on its website.
The label, featuring two skeletons wearing a Phillies cap and a Phillie Phanatic hat, was created by local sports gear designer Cracked Bell.
Fans can head to the Croydon taproom to enjoy a drink and watch a game on one of their many TVs.
