Former Bon-Ton in Richland Township to Become Home to New Tenant

A state-of-the-art fitness facility, Relentless Iron, is relocating to part of the former Bon-Ton department store in Richland Township.

Relentless Iron, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, will relocate to part of the former Bon-Ton department store at Richland Plaza in Richland Township, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.

This spring, the business will relocate from its three-year home in Quakertown to a larger space less than half a mile to the south.

In the meantime, Relentless Iron will continue to operate at its current location while the transition is happening. The fitness facility will occupy the southeast corner of the former Bon-Ton building, which closed in 2018.

Owner-operators Alex Fillman and Jessica Fillman are targeting a June 1 grand opening at the new location, with a potential soft opening planned for May.

The new facility will include 25-foot-high ceilings, upgraded bathrooms, turf and rubber flooring, and state-of-the-art cardio and strength-training equipment, along with a wide range of functional tools such as kettlebells and medicine balls.

Expanded class space will allow for HYROX-specialized training designed to prepare individuals for the World Series of Fitness Racing competitions.

“We’re also looking into having saunas installed and possibly cold plunges, too,” said Alex. “We want to be that one-stop shop for people looking to improve their fitness.”
