Doylestown native and pop singer Pink will be taking over “The Kelly Clarkson Show” for a week in March as the “American Idol” alum takes a short hiatus, writes Arya Zade for EntertainmentNow.
Beginning on March 2, Pink will be making her hosting debut, leading special episodes on the talk show for Women’s History Month.
Episodes will feature community stories, inspirational conversations, and discussions of women’s achievements, according to Deadline.
For the past two decades, along with releasing hit songs like “What About Us” and “Just Give Me a Reason,” the Grammy-winning singer has also advocated for mental health and body positivity.
Show producers confirmed that Pink will be interviewing everyday heroes and celebrities and hosting special musical performances.
There will also be interactive segments featuring games and meaningful conversations highlighting women making an impact in their communities.
“The Kelly Clarkson Show” is drawing to a close this year with its final season, as Clarkson steps away to spend more time with her family and prioritize her own music.
Clarkson and Pink have a long-standing friendship, previously singing together during the talk show’s “Songs and Stories” segment.
