For tea lovers looking for a good cup on a cold day, there are a few great spots around Bucks County to visit for tasty brews and cozy vibes.

On cold days, when a chill lingers in the air, one of the best remedies can be a simple cup of tea. Luckily, there are tearooms around Bucks County that make teatime an unforgettable, soothing experience.

The Talking Teacup – Chalfont

Reopened by Patti Fitzpatrick in 2021, this tea house is a welcoming spot with a cozy atmosphere in a historic 18th-century building. Guests can choose from a range of tea varieties, including white tea, green tea, oolong, black tea, flavored teas, decaffeinated, blends, chai, and red teas.

The décor, menu, and tea selections transform throughout the year, designed to match the seasons, themed events, and the holidays. Book a regular tea service to enjoy scones, sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts, and keep an eye out for additional special events.

The tea house is open Fridays to Sundays, with the first seating at 11 AM and the second seating at 2 PM. Reservations, which can be made online, are required.

Bebe & Pops Thriving Hive Tea Room – Sellersville

This intimate and cozy tearoom serves up organic, handcrafted tea blends. While tea may be their specialty, their menu features other delicious options to try, like fresh smoothies, ice cream, iced tea, cold brew, locally roasted coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch, and small batch meats. Kombucha is also available on tap.

The tearoom and gift shop are open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM, and it’s recommended that guests call ahead for seating. Special events and workshops are held frequently, with information available on their social media.

The Snarky Tea House – Doylestown

If you’ve ever wanted an invitation to the Mad Hatter’s tea party, this tea house is a delightful trip to Wonderland. Their menu features a range of unique tea flavors, like Caramel Chai, Tropical Sunrise, Mindful Mint, Lavender Lemonade, Blueberry Apple Pie, Raspberry Lemonade, and Blue Pineapple Mango.

If you’re feeling peckish, check out their tea towers, with options for adults and kids alike. Each tower features sandwiches, scones, and desserts, with gluten-free options available.

The tea house is open from 11 AM to 4 PM Thursday through Sunday. Reservations are required, and tables are reserved for an hour and a half.

Wallace & Davis Enchanted English Tea Room – Lahaska

This tearoom brings a bit of London to Lahaska, with an authentic experience from the tea to the scones served on the side. Customers can choose between a few serving times.

The Duke & Duchess early afternoon seating is for those six years old and up and lasts one and a half to two hours. Customers can enjoy assorted tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, mini cakes, sweets, and unlimited hot or cold tea.

The King & Queen late afternoon seating lasts two to two and a half hours for guests 10 years old and over. A Gentleman’s Tea is also available, and Sweet Pea’s All Ages Tea Party is a special experience for little ones. Reservations can be made online.
