Moravian Pottery & Tile Works – Doylestown
Built by Henry Chapman Mercer between 1911 and 1912, this museum sits on the same property as the Mercer Museum and Fonthill Castle.
Visitors can explore the halls decorated with impressive Moravian tiles and the workshops throughout the grounds, and learn how craftsmen turn local clay into works of art.
Tours run Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM, and special tours on Tuesdays give guests the chance to make their own tile creations.
Bucks County Children’s Museum – New Hope
For families with little ones, this spot provides children with countless learning opportunities through play.
BCCM features a variety of exhibits, including the Pollination Wall, the Weis Grocery Store, the STEAMroom, the Treehouse, Big Oak Service Station, and more.
The museum is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 AM to 4 PM, Saturdays from 10 AM to 3:30 PM, and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
Michener Art Museum – Doylestown
This impressive art museum, named after Pulitzer-Prize-winning writer James A. Michener, features a permanent collection of over 4,000 pieces.
Along with displaying a selection of Pennsylvania Impressionist works and rotating exhibitions, visitors can also check out gallery talks, lectures, artist studio tours, music and dance performances, and more.
Pop by from Wednesday through Saturday between 10 AM and 5 PM, and Tuesday and Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM to explore all it has to offer.
African American Museum of Bucks County – Langhorne
Honoring the rich legacy of the African American experience, this museum provides insight into historical figures and untold stories from Bucks County and the surrounding area.
The museum offers a variety of events, including its upcoming Legacy of Service on Feb. 28, featuring re-enactors from four different wars. AAMBC is also celebrating Women’s History Month with a performance from jazz singer Dionne Carole on March 15 at Pennswood Village, with all proceeds going toward the museum’s renovations.

VAMPA Vampire & Paranormal Museum – Doylestown
For lovers of all things spooky and strange, check out this museum bursting with the beautiful art of folklore, faith, myth, and the supernatural.
Their latest exhibition, “The Art of the Kill,” provides guests with the chance to view vampire artifacts, art, and more.
Also on the five-acre grounds are the Zen Garden, peacocks, and a dinosaur park for kids, offering plenty of activities to enjoy.
The museum is open Thursdays through Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM.
