A popular restaurant in Bucks County has been recognized as an important part of its community over the past ten years.

Caleb’s American Kitchen, located at 5738 Route 202 in Lahaska, celebrated a decade of food and community last week. To commemorate the occasion, Senator Steve Santarsiero and Representative Tim Brennan arrived at the event to provide owner Caleb Lentchner with several gifts.

One of the gifts included a citation from the House of Representatives, as well as a statement of congratulations from the Senate of Pennsylvania. He was also given a Pennsylvania state flag that once flew over the state’s capital in Harrisburg.

A more personal gift included merchandise from Tufts University, Lentchner’s alma mater and the college that his son will be attending in the fall.

“We were deeply honored for this recognition and both Senator Santarsiero and Representative Brennan attended our ‘giving back’ night to Midway Volunteer Fire Company,” the restaurant said online. “It was a memorable occasion for all of us!”
