Amazon Launches Bucks County Community Fund for Local Projects

Amazon announces that applications for their Bucks County Community Fund are open, allowing residents the chance to fund local projects.

Amazon recently announced that applications are open for the Amazon Bucks County Community Fund, a community grant program supporting local initiatives.

The company has committed $100,000 to the fund, and community groups, individuals, nonprofits, schools, and other organizations can apply.

Individuals and community groups can apply for up to $5,000, while nonprofits can apply for grants up to $10,000.

Themes for the projects should fall under culture & heritage, health & wellbeing, hunger, education & access, STEM, sustainability & environment, and digital skills.

Applicants may also apply for funding to introduce successful, established community programs from other communities around the world.

“We’re thrilled to launch the Amazon Bucks County Community Fund and put resources directly into the hands of local changemakers,” said Lisa Schooley, Amazon’s Community Engagement Manager. “This initiative reflects our long-standing commitment to being a good neighbor by supporting innovative programs that increase inclusiveness in our communities. We look forward to seeing the creative solutions that will emerge from Bucks County residents and organizations!”

Applications will be accepted until March 30 and will be administered and managed by the nonprofit ChangeX

The fund is part of Amazon’s dedication to supporting the communities it operates in.
