At Doylestown’s 4SeasonAlpine, Dreams of Olympic Snow Sports Start Indoors

4SeasonAlpine in Doylestown is an indoor ski and snowboard facility that combines strength training and simulation for athletes.

Doylestown-based 4SeasonAlpine, an indoor ski and snowboard facility, combines strength training and simulation that allows athletes to train like professional skiers and snowboarders, writes Sydney Kay for WFMZ 69 News.

“That half an hour session will feel like you’re skiing on the mountain for about four to five hours,” said Vladimir Yunusov, the Assistant Coach at 4SeasonAlpine.

The family-owned company has been offering the kind of workouts and technology that Olympians have been using for four years.

“Our United States Olympians were training on those machines in 2012, prepping for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi,” said 4SeasonAlpine Founder and Head Coach, Andrey Yunusov.

These machines challenge users to their limits, targeting stamina, performance, skill, and agility.

Olympics are familiar territory for the Yunusov family. Vladimir went to Maryland in July to test his skills in bobsledding for the U.S. team. While he did not succeed on this attempt, he plans to make another run this year.

The facility serves both seasoned athletes and complete beginners alike. Their youngest skier is almost three years old, and their oldest was 83 years old.
