While it might still be chilly outside, there are plenty of fun activities happening across Bucks County this weekend, writes Kaitlin Nasevich for Visit Bucks County.
On Jan. 9 and 10, Peddler’s Village is hosting Fire & Frost Fun, with dozens of ice sculptures that visitors can see for free. Families can enjoy a Find Jack Frost scavenger hunt and great tunes from the live DJ.
From now until the end of the year, visit The Moravian Pottery & Tile Works in Doylestown to enjoy the tile mosaic exhibitions. The 400 mosaics depict Pennsylvania’s historical moments, flora and fauna, native artifacts, and more.
New Hope’s Manoff Market & Cidery is hosting a How to Make Hard Cider workshop on Jan. 10. For $20, go behind the scenes to learn how their fermented cider is made with educational tips and tricks.
On Jan. 10 at The Newtown Theatre, the band All Revved Up is performing “The Ultimate Meat Loaf Tribute,” featuring props, choreography, and costume changes. Tickets are available on the theatre’s website.
Crossing Vineyards & Winery is hosting a Wine & Bundt Cakes event on Jan. 11. For $35, enjoy treats from Newtown’s Nothing Bundt Cakes and a variety of award-winning wines. Reservations are required.
Art lovers can visit the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown to see a new exhibition from Peter Paone on display: “Not So Still Life.” The exhibit, running through March 15, takes inspiration from Dutch vanitas paintings.
