Bike Works in Doylestown is rolling out a mobile bike pick-up and delivery service designed to enhance convenience for professional bicycle service, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
Customers can now arrange for their bicycles to be securely transported door to door to Bike Works’ service center for service and maintenance.
“Our goal is to remove barriers that keep people from riding,” said Brian Boger, co-founder and partner at Bike Works. “This service makes it easier for busy families, commuters, and riders with multiple bikes to keep their equipment safe and reliable—without sacrificing local, expert service.”
Customers book pick-up times online and choose the services they need.
Bike Works, first opened in 2011, oversees the entire process, from initial pick up through to the final delivery, with clear and consistent communication.
The service is designed for riders who have limited transportation options, tight schedules, or several bicycles in need of maintenance.
The Mobile Pick-Up and Delivery Service builds on Bike Works’ in-store service operation and reflects its belief that brick-and-mortar bicycle businesses remain essential to the physical, mental, and social health of local communities.
