Michelin Guide Awards This Philadelphia Hotel Two-Key Designation

The Michelin Guide has awarded the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center a two-key designation, a unique honor in Greater Philadelphia.

The Michelin Guide has awarded the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at the Comcast Center a two-key designation, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The 2025 key designations, announced on Wednesday, are equivalent to Michelin’s coveted star ratings that are awarded to restaurants around the world. The key ratings system was launched last year.

The one-key distinction is awarded to hotels that offer a “very special stay.” The two-key rating is for “exceptional stay” hotels, while the three-key nod designates properties offering an “extraordinary stay.”

The Four Seasons received two keys, the highest recognition for any hotel in Greater Philadelphia since the system’s launch. This is a significant upgrade from last year, when the 219-room hotel was not even recognized.

The Four Seasons opened in 2019 at the top of the Comcast Technology Center and has since been recognized globally for its accommodations, as well as its in-house restaurants and spa. Most recently, it was named the 12th best hotel in the Mid-Atlantic by Condé Nast Traveler earlier this week.

The hotel is now preparing to launch its new Sky Garden floor on the 45th level of the Comcast Technology Center tower in December. This will increase the number of rooms available to 227.
