New Hope’s Bucks County Playhouse to Host Annual Costume and Clothing Sale

The Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope will be having its third Props and Frocks costume sale on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

New Hope’s Bucks County Playhouse is holding its annual Props and Frocks costume sale on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 AM to 5 PM, writes Chloe Rabinowitz for Broadway World.

During the sale, the public is welcome to sort through the Playhouse’s collection of used shoes, costumes and accessories, all featured in their productions.

The fundraising sale will take place at the Jay Manas and Bill Harris Playhouse Barn.

Items like business wear, antique dresses, dance shoes and more will be available. Examples of some of the clothing will be posted on the Playhouse’s social media accounts.

“It’s my pleasure to coordinate this annual sale for the Playhouse,” said Event Coordinator Sally Weisman. “As someone who sits in the audience and thinks how much I’d love to wear some of the outfits I see on stage, this sale is the perfect opportunity to have some fun while raising funds for the nonprofit Playhouse.”

Prices for the clothes and accessories begin at $2. Donations can be made in cash or by card.

“The sale is especially important as we clear our shelves to welcome in the 2026 Season. Many thanks to the Bucks County Playhouse Board Members for their work on this fundraiser,” said the Playhouse’s Executive Director, Nicole Hackmann.
